Flames are Learning

On Thursday May 7th 2015, a fire in burned for 5 hours in Perth’s Kings Park, burning 6 hectares (60,000 square meters) of our 400 hectare, best known national park. This is an area roughly the size of the MCG.  

This was no ordinary bush fire though.  It was ignited intentionally in the name of science with the full endorsement of the West Australian Environmental Minister
